Ultrasoft presented a unique design order to Stan Agency. The company creates laundry products and needed a new label for its detergent products. Stan Agency took the project to create an amazing eLiquid label design.

Research as a Custom Label Design Firm

Our first step was digging into the detergent market. We were able to ascertain several label design trends immediately. From there, we investigated Ultrasoft’s competition. Each used a similar motif, so we knew we didn’t want to make the same eLiquid label design choice.

Bonus Challenge

The added challenge with this project was turning ordinary detergent into something extraordinary that people desired. We needed to create that suggestion through the eLiquid label design. The team was divided throughout the project on how best to accomplish that goal.

Design Inspiration

Our primary inspiration came from the activity we use laundry detergent for. We also drew inspiration from the branding information Ultrasoft gave us. Between these two items, there were more than enough ideas for the team to work with.

Narrowing Down the Final Options

The label design team created several awesome concepts for this eLiquid product. We began by comparing the ideas to Ultrasoft’s branding. Then we looked at which approach created the better suggestion of extraordinarily clean clothing.

Result

Ultrasoft team members loved the professional eLiquid label design. The company was able to swap over label designs within the quarter. Ultrasoft has since reported solid growth and positive customer feedback on the product label design.

The completed design featured many suggestions of clean water, from the brand logo to the lower half of the design. We wanted a design that contrasted nicely with the purple bottle. We look forward to working with Ultrasoft again.
