Challenge

Grains of Color presented Stan Agency with a packaging line design custom order. The company makes organic snack products. The packaging line design needed to cover three products and be expandable in the future. We accepted the order.

Research as a Custom Packaging Line Design Firm

Our first research step was examining the rice cracker market. We discovered several trends in the packaging line design as well. We didn’t want to follow the examples of intricate line packaging designs that are common.

Bonus Challenge

The added challenge with this packaging line design process was consumer wariness. In the USA, healthy foods are not viewed favorably. Instead, the consumer majority believes there is no way they could taste good. Since Grains of Color is organic, vegan, and more, we needed a strategy to draw in more consumers through packaging line design.

Design Inspiration

Minimalist design inspired many choices with the packaging line design. Grains of Color did not want something complicated. Instead, we focused on making the product the packaging line design centerpiece.

Narrowing Down the Final Options
