Research as a Custom Electronics Packaging Design Fir

Our first electronics packaging design research step was the hunting industry. Then we pulled several competitors’ hunting decoy electronics packaging designs. We found many used the camo and hunting motifs in their packaging design.

Bonus Challenge

The added challenge to this electronics packaging design project involved conveying the product’s purpose. This electronics packaging design was a new type of decoy modification. We needed to be clear about what the harness did.

Design Inspiration

Our primary electronics packaging design inspiration was the bold Pinteal brand. We also knew we did not want camo or hunting to be the primary feature. Instead, we focused on the branding and blending in the hunting aspects.

Narrowing Down the Final Options

The professional team built several quality electronics packaging design concepts. We eliminated those with too much hunting focus. Then we ended up combining the layout and elements from our top two electronics packaging design choices.

The completed electronics packaging design features a signature teal and greyscale. The contrast helps the box stand out. We also added a hunting scene and product photo. We look forward to assisting Pinteal again.
