Research as a Custom Label Design Firm
We began by examining the olive oil market trends. Then we looked at direct competitor olive oil label designs. This revealed an olive motif and a general preference for simple label designs. We decided to use a more elaborate plan.
Bonus Challenge
The particular challenge with this olive oil label design project involved the consumer product education. Consumers are learning more about their olive oil and want a high-quality product. We needed to convey that in the label, or Herbalea Food would sit in stores.
Design Inspiration
Olive fields inspired the design heavily. We wanted to evoke the olives without drawing them directly. Those fields are amazing, and we wanted to do them justice. We also kept the design clean, which was inspired by the classic illustrated olive oil label designs.
