Moruu brought Stan Agency an energizing custom order for their new bamboo cotton swab packaging design. As a packaging design company, we love having unique products to work with and enjoy the eco-friendly approach Moruu takes. With that in mind, there were some challenges to coming up with the perfect packaging for these inspirational products.

Research as a Packaging Design Company
Each member of our packaging design company’s team jumped into researching the best design options. We found that there are a few companies making bamboo cotton swabs. We decided we needed a bold and creative approach for Moruu to stand out on the shelves against these competitors, even if the shelves were digital.
Bonus Challenge
We also needed to consider Moruu’s company values while we were designing, which included eco-friendly measures. That meant that our packaging design company’s final result required recyclability or compostability, but ideally, both. This consideration meant we needed to be careful about what materials were added to the box, such as inks, as well.
Design Inspiration
Our initial research as a package design company revealed many natural-looking plain boxes with text on top. The agency decided to go in a new direction in terms of color. We had unique plans going up across the office, and narrowing those down was difficult. We knew we wanted to use color, and everyone had a lot of ideas on how.
Narrowing Down the Final Options
When the time came to pick a final design, it was difficult to choose between so many innovative and creative designs. Our original packaging design company delivered a variety of colors and styles ranging in boldness. Ultimately, it came down to the practicalities of producing the packages that made the decision.
