Sunergetic brought Stan Agency an intriguing challenge for one of its new vitamin label designs. The company wanted to add an excellent label design for methyl folate, which helps maintain folate levels. We took the challenge and created an innovative design that allows the bottle to stand out on supplement shelves.

Research as a Custom Label Design Firm
Our first step is examining the target market, which in this case was the USA. The supplement market is particularly saturated in the USA, so we knew we needed a vitamin label that stood out. Additionally, Sunergetic offers numerous other supplements already, so we looked at its existing product lines for successful design elements.
Bonus Challenge
The most challenging part of this vitamin label design was figuring out how to stand out in an oversaturated market. The new supplement label design needed to draw the eye on shelves, look great online, and still meet the legal labeling requirements set out by the FDA. That’s a lot to ask of any packaging design.
Design Inspiration
Design inspiration for this product was not hard to find for this project. We looked at supplement store shelves and individual packaging. Sunergetic also has a well-established brand, which helped immensely. We were able to use the company’s nature-inspired branding throughout the project, and the team created several innovative vitamin label designs around it.
Narrowing Down the Final Options
The team produced many unique supplement label designs, and narrowing it down was difficult. We began by discarding any plans that were too far away from Sunergetic’s existing branding. Then the team ended up combining two design concepts. That took the basic design from one concept and used the color scheme ideas from a second to create the final design.
