Research as a Custom Sticker Packaging Design Firm

We initially set to researching the mousetrap industry both in Germany, where the company headquarters, and the USA, where it hopes to expand. We also looked at a collection of direct competitors’ cartoon packaging designs. The trend is popular for mousetraps.

Bonus Challenge

The significant challenge with this cartoon packaging design project was conveying the product’s humane nature. Kill mousetraps are common. We needed to share how this mousetrap was different before consumers picked up the packaging.

Design Inspiration

The primary inspiration was the mousetrap product. The team illustrated it differently on various concepts. We also considered the background, since that affected the cartoon packaging design look.

Narrowing Down the Final Options

The amazing design team produced several professional cartoon packaging design concepts. We eliminated those that would be difficult to print cleanly. Then we moved to consider the visual appeal of the ideas.

• Separate package design elements for reuse

The completed cartoon packaging design featured a rendering of a mouse and trap set. We also added other illustrated elements to the plan. We look forward to helping Meisterfaktur further as the company expands.
