Challenge

For most girls around the world, a hairband is a daily necessity that can range in appearance from purely practical to overtly fashionable. A stylish hairband can offer a small pop of color to an outfit or easily showcase a girl’s personal fashion tastes. Lillebelle prioritizes hair accessories that are both functional and fashionable and therefore required a blister packaging design that accurately reflects the personality of their products.

Our blister packaging design for Lillebelle’s hair clips had to be appealing and approachable in order to catch the attention of the young female target market who would be wearing the product.

Result

Cute and creative, the final packaging design for Lillebelle perfectly suits the young clientele it offers. Soft, sweet detailing pairs well with the bold shape of the design, catching attention without overwhelming the senses. Bold shades of childhood are left behind for a more elegant palette. The packaging design effectively utilizes current market trends and creative solutions in order to attract girls searching for stylish hair bands and accessories.

Our creative blister packaging design for Lillebelle utilized a custom-made shape of a small girl, much like the type of girl who would be purchasing and wearing the hair accessories themselves. The chic graphic provides an example to the young customers about the type of girl who might be wearing the product itself. She can emulate her own hair or style after the atmosphere presented by the packaging design.

Coloring

The colors of the blister packaging design are muted rather than bright, playing upon a sophistication that many young preteen girls crave as they begin to get older. The font also plays upon a sense of Parisian elegance, purposefully utilizing thin, scrawling lettering. White space is heavily used in order to create a balance between the graphics and the product.
