GoDoggy brought Stan Agency an advanced custom order. The company recently began sourcing Himalayan yak cheese as a dog treat. It needed an amazing, professional packaging design, and we accepted the order.

Research as a Custom Professional Packaging Design Firm

We began by examining the dog treat market. From that, we pulled several competitor examples. These professional packaging designs did not match exactly since Himalayan yak cheese is a rare product. We were able to determine we did not want an intricate design for this professional packaging design project.

Bonus Challeng

The added challenge with this professional packaging design involved the owners. Dog owners are notoriously protective of their dogs, with good reason. For example, in the USA, there is controversy around improper rawhide. Introducing them to a new product and assuring these people of its safety through the professional packaging design was essential.

Design Inspiration

Our professional packaging design inspiration was this unique product. We knew we wanted to include the yaks. We also wanted something simple that wouldn’t get lost on the pet store shelves, so we collectively picked the two-tone idea.

Narrowing Down the Final Options

The creative design team returned several professional packaging concepts. We began by eliminating those that were intricate. Then we examined which would best suit the brand and intended market.

Result

The GoDoggy team loved the new design, and quickly placed it in production. The company used the bilingual professional package design to enter two markets at once. Recently, GoDoggy let us know it was successful in both.
