  • 5.0 Review ZENAMARKET Packaging 100+ Reviews

Zenamarket presented Stan Agency with a unique tea packaging design project. The company created a detox tea for humans trying to get fitter. Stan Agency accepted the tea packaging design challenge for the 28-day package.

Challenge Components
  • Saturated market
  • Eye-catching
  • Consumer detox wariness

Audience Research

Our first step was researching who drank detox tea. The answer tended towards women in their 20s and 30s. We used this information in our tea packaging design element decisions. That way, the tea packaging design would look attractive.

Research as a Custom Tea Packaging Design Firm

We also examined the overall tea industry. We looked at competitor tea packaging designs. This provided market trends, many of which tended towards image-based packages. We decided to actively avoid the market trend for our tea package design.

Bonus Challenge

The added problem with the tea packaging design project was the consumer wariness. Consumers in markets such as the USA no longer understand detox. They view it as an alternative practice of no benefit. We needed a tea package design that appealed to believers and skeptics alike.

Design Inspiration

Our tea packaging design inspiration came from contrasting the pouch pattern. We wanted something simple for consumers after the pattern caught their eyes. Additionally, the contrast was its own contribution.

Element Decisions

We did not pick out the pouch design. However, we did decide the tea packaging design should incorporate it in some way. We also wanted to include the primary plant ingredients from the tea. We decided illustrated would provide the best contrast. Then we let the tea packaging design team choose how they wanted to lay everything out.

Narrowing Down the Final Options

The Stan Agency professional team produced several tea packaging design ideas. We took these concepts and ensured they worked with the pouch pattern. Then we ended up combining two design ideas into a single tea package design. That way, the final tea packaging design had the best of both.

The Zenamarket marketing team loved the tea package design. The company began using it immediately. Zenamarket recently sent an email to Stan Agency detailing how the tea packaging design product was so popular, the company had to order new production runs sooner than forecasted.

The Deliverable

The Final Package:
  • One complete custom tea packaging design
  • Separate package design elements for reuse
The completed tea packaging design featured a white background, simple text, and dandelion illustration. The colors matched the abstract pattern design on the pouch. We felt this best suited Zenamarket’s branding. We look forward to working with Zenamarket again as it expands the product line.
